The National Day of Thanksgiving (NDOT) is an initiative of the Church in Australia, and is enthusiastically endorsed by the Australian Government.
NDOT is for us to celebrate our Christian Heritage, demonstrate the Love of God, thank those who have made a positive impact on our lives and encourage each other.
This Community Festival is a gift from the Churches in Mackay to this Region and is supported by the Mackay Regional Council.
It is presented to the community free of charge and will take place at the Mackay Entertainment Centre grounds from 10am to 3pm on Saturday 29th May 2010. Come and help us celebrate this important day on the Australian calendar - the National Day of Thanksgiving. All are welcome!
Those to be honoured and thanked as part of the National Day of Thanksgiving celebrations are as follows:-
People engaged in Small Business, Industry and Primary Production. For example, sole traders, shopkeepers, farmers, etc. In addition and at a more personal level, we encourage you to honour and thank Grandparents.
